We're the Alumni Association for Hollywood High School. We're not affiliated with any for-profit organizations that may seek to collect money from you for reunions or other functions.

Your annual dues are $20 and are due and payable January 1st of each year. These funds are fully tax-deductible since we are an official IRS 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We do not organize reunions, please contact your class officer for that information. For any questions, please call Christopher Matthew Spencer at (818) 567-4000 after 5pm weekdays or at admin@hhsalum.org.

In Loving Memory of Nolan Ballin April 1, 1926 - February 17, 2012

Nolan was the first born son of Max and Frances Ballin of Chicago. He grew up surrounded aunts, uncles, cousins and brother Ernie and sister Elaine. Nolan moved to LA in 1939 and attended Hollywood High School. In high school he worked at McDonnell Douglas Burbank on Dauntless aircraft. After graduation, Nolan joined the Army Air Corps. and served as a drill instructor until the end of WWII. The Hollywood High School Alumni Association Museum

The idea of a museum to highlight the history of the school as well as the famous alumni who

attended was spearheaded by Jeanne Hon, principal from 1991-1997. She would go through the

basements and storage areas looking for space to be converted into offices and instructional facilities,

and during her searches she found a great deal of memorabilia stored in boxes and completely

Aldonia "La Verne" Fisher. 66 past away unexpectedly on Sunday April 8, 2012 following a brief illness.

She was born on April 23, 1945 Newport News, Virginia to Frank E and Verna Brown. Aldonia is survived by her husband John Fisher, her daughter Nicole Fisher, granddaughter Sophia Weglarz, her two sisters Francella Watkins and Anita Brown.
