I just joined this discussion and the alumni association today. It suddenly dawned on me that it's been 50 years since I graduated HHS. I live on the East Coast and would like to know if a reunion is put together. I will be in LA Nov. 14th for a few days, if it happens then it would be great.

Count-Down To The 50th (HHS Class of '61 Reunion)

October 16, 2011 is fast approaching. That's the date established for a 50th Reunion of Hollywood High School's graduating classes (W'61 and S'61) at Hugh Lipton's home in Studio City, CA.

For those who are attending from out of town and wondering where a good place to stay is, the fabled Sportsmen's Lodge on the corner of Ventura Boulevard and Coldwater Canyon Avenue in Studio City is located only a few blocks from Hugh's home.

The festivities kick off at 6:00 PM, and a quantity of food, snacks and beverages will be available. Attendees are also requested to bring dessert or other treats. A nominal donation of $10.00 to cover service and cleaning would be appreciated, and collected at the event.

Anyone wishing to attend can go to the class's web site, and RSVP through the Web Mistress email link on the right. Please let us know how many will be coming. You can also reply to this email, with your RSVP. Complete details on the Elysians/Surfers Reunion can also be found on the site.
