FIRST ALL CITY SWIM TEAM--ADD TO: Athletic Wall of Fame

For several years, I've been trying to have the FIRST ALL CITY SWIM TEAM.  Recognized, and added to the Athletic Wall of Fame.  I don't know why this can't be done??  Wouldn't you think that Hollywood High School would be proud of our accomplishment?  I mean--we were the first team in Hollywood High School's history to win this.  Other teams after us are recognized, BUT NOT THE 1949 ALL CITY SWIM TEAM.  And, to make this more amazing is the fact that we didn't even have a swimming pool at Hollywood High School.  We had to train at the Hollywood YMCA or the Hollywood Athletic Club!  And, our coach was the "C" track coach--who never attended our workouts.  Our team swam against U.C.L.A., and beat them!  A photo of our team can be found in the 1949 Poinsettia.

Anyway I guess I'll just keep trying.
