1958 BB City Finals
Holly High had swept undefeated through the Western League in 1958. They defeated San Pedro, Venice, North Hollywood in the LA City Championships, but, alas, were defeated by the the Billy the Hill McGill and Lefty Thomas duo of LA Jefferson High School in the Championship Game, but it was a grand season at 15wins and 3 losses.

Great picture, Chris. I remember that game against Jefferson. Billy McGill was the biggest player I had ever seen. At least, you had a great life in basketball. Barry Phipps
