I was envious about the snake back then since reptiles were verboten in my home. Oh well, my kids had them, and two still do. The snake was a close second to Mrs.Kopf's fetus in the large, institutional size, mayo jar.
If your Indo connection turns up any jobs for a 32 y.o. American kid (my second oldest son) with an aquatic biology degree (UCSB) and who speaks fluent Indonesian, let me know. He lives in Jakarta with Indonesian wife and one child (one month from two children) and teaches English at a Korean school.
I practice law here in California, and am slowing edging toward retirement -hopefully in a way that will allow me to earn my extra keep with mediations and arbitrations. That remains in the future, but looms ever larger since my wife retired as a teacher in June.
I will send you an email with my personal email address.

PS We just had some almost fresh (but frozen for safety) halibut filets from the San Juans as caught by a daughter visiting the area. Oh, so good!

"Thoroughly Modern Millie" is Thoroughly Amazing!

The 1967 American musical film starring legendary Julie Andrews was adapted to the stage and the Hollywood High School's opening night yesterday was nothing short of amazing and I've seen many Broadway plays. This was good, really and truly great actually. Except for the fact that middle-aged characters were being portrayed by…See More
