Henry “Hank” Smith graduated from Hollywood High in the spring of 1938. Following high school Hank worked on the scenes of western films tending to the horses. His friend and co-worker at the time was Richard Farnsworth who later became a popular actor. Hank Smith followed a career as a cartoonist for Charles Schultz. Hank is known for his artwork in Peanuts, Mister Magoo, Road Runner, Fat Albert and Flash Gordon among others. Hank’s career continued through the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. He was the younger brother of Frank Smith and Paul J. Smith and uncle to Charles Martin Smith (actor)
